Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bimetric ("Bimetric", "we", "us"), a web-based tool for viewing and coordinating BIM/IFC building models, available at bimetric.io (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

Bimetric lets you view IFC building models in a browser, and — on paid plans — run clash detection between building disciplines, export reports, and manage model coordination across a project. The free tier requires no account; paid features require a Bimetric account and an active subscription.

3. Accounts

You’re responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans (currently the Pro plan) are billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor. Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the IFC models and project data you upload. We only use your content to operate the Service for you (e.g. rendering, running the clash checks you request, generating the reports you export). We don’t claim ownership of your models, and we don’t share them with other users or use them to train any model without your explicit consent.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to upload content you don’t have the right to upload, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or to violate any applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue features of the Service; if a change materially reduces what’s available on a paid plan, we’ll let you know.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Clash-detection results are a coordination aid, not a substitute for professional engineering judgment — always verify results before relying on them for construction decisions. To the extent permitted by law, Bimetric is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
